Full Professor of Historical and General Linguistics

Andrea Scala is Full Professor of Historical and General Linguistics at the State University of Milan (Italy). His research mainly focuses on language change and language contact with particular reference to Romani dialects, Armenian language in its historical relations with neighbouring languages and Italo-Romance dialects and toponymy.
